Dr Gurpreet Dhillon

Mr. Gurpreet Dhillon is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiac Devices, with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders. He currently practices at East Surrey Hospital within Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, where he provides expert, patient-focused cardiovascular care using advanced diagnostic and interventional techniques.

Mr. Dhillon completed a BSc in Human Bioscience at Queen Mary University of London in 2006 before earning his MB BS from the same institution in 2007. He subsequently achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and went on to complete a PhD focused on Atrial Fibrillation at Queen Mary University of London in 2022, reflecting his strong academic and research interest in cardiac arrhythmias.

His specialist expertise includes the assessment and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms, with particular interests in implantable cardiac technologies and device therapy. Mr. Dhillon is experienced in Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs), Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs), and cardiac pacing procedures, supporting patients with both diagnostic monitoring and long-term rhythm management.
