Dr. Gleb Ivanov

My most recent visit was a check up, 4 months from my last appointment, and 16 months since I finished chemotherapy. I had bloods taken, and the results were discussed with Dr Ivanov. Dr Ivanov also checked my lymph nodes for any signs of swelling. He is very easy to talk to and very matter of fact.

I have been seeing this consultant for some time. He explains my treatment to me and is kind and caring.

Dr Ivanov is a very kind and caring consultant. He has been able to talk me through my diagnosis really clearly and supported my husband and I through starting a family, despite my condition.

Dr Ivanov was my consultant for 5 years and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. Right from diagnosis, he was kind, patient, happy to answer my endless questions and I always felt in safe hands with him. He was very knowledgeable regarding MPNs and we had many interesting discussions on this topic.

I think one can tell instantly if the consultant is right for you. Dr. Ivanov was! From the very start, he communicated in a clear, non-jargon way, was professional and diligent and took great care to ensure that I understood both his diagnosis and his proposed treatment. Throughout the months of my chemotherapy, he was attentive, caring and always made himself available, whatever the day or time. In old language, he went 'the extra mile' and I owe him and his team a massive debt of gratitude. Thank you.

Dr Ivanov is my haematologist consultant and I was diagnosed with Follicular lymphoma two years ago. He is very knowledgeable and considered my course of treatment very carefully before choosing my treatment plan. He is very good communicator and went into great detail about how it would be administered and what side effects to expect. Overall, I found him to be an excellent consultant throughout my treatment.

I have been under Dr Ivanov’s care since 2009, throughout the time he has been extremely professional, caring and dedicated. Due to the length of time I have been in remission, Dr Ivanov has suggested I can be signed off of his care, I chosen to remain under his care even though it is a 90 mile round trip to see him. His knowledge, manner and dedication plus his honesty has kept me upbeat throughout my treatment and subsequent care. I absolutely recommend Dr Ivanov

It's always a pleasure to see Dr Ivanov. He provides a professional yet friendly service. He takes time to explain the results which he explains in an easy to understand format. He is thorough in his reading of blood test results making sure he has all the available information at hand before disseminating this to his patients. He has a personable manner and always seems pleased to see me when I arrive for my 3 monthly check up.
