Absolutely excellent consultant. Professional, helpful, kind and service was way above and beyond
Mr McKay has always inspired confidence in his advice and interventions relating to my back issues. His manner is both caring and professional and he always explains things clearly giving options.
Mr McKay has a kind, caring and patient manner. He explains everything clearly. He takes time to listen and to answer in a manner which is reassuring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr McKay for a consultation or procedure.
I was first under Mr McKay’s care for a prolapsed spinal disc in 2025, and having recently had recurring issues, I did not hesitate in going straight back to Mr McKay immediately. He listens properly, is very honest and trustworthy and his clear explanations instantly put you at ease. He is very clear on actions and next steps, and does exactly what he says he’s going to do. I genuinely wish more medical professionals, particularly in the NHS was like Mr McKay.
Following MRI scan and X-ray Mr McKay suggested a SI injection the following month Thank fully this intervention has worked I haven’t taken pain treatment since Highly recommended
Very impressed with the whole experience with mr McKay, From initial consultation, to the procedure, a very professional, efficient, successful experience. I would not hesitate to recommend, and return for further treatment if necessary.
No visit but a phone call. I was so disappointed that nothing more can be done but understand why….l think!
Mr McKay listened carefully and professionally to my concerns, acknowledging the reality of my nerve pain. He made every effort to reassure me and demonstrated a clear commitment to doing everything possible to alleviate my symptoms.
Mr McKay is very approachable and sets you at ease. He explains the situation, challenge and solution very clearly. He is timely and with the support of his medical secretary they form a fantastic and professional duo. Mr McKay is kindly honest as well; so expectations are realistic and reasonable. This creates patient trust. My experience, holistically, was exceptional and no matter where I end up in the UK, I will come back to Mr McKay for any future treatments. Highly recommend.
Nice to see a consultant willing to do the menial task if necessary to keep the job going and spending as long as necessary to make sure the patient really understood all the ins and outs of the procedure.
George is a great asset to our trust and his patients. He has a real passion for achieving more than excellent results, and has a deep ambition for using modern techniques to deliver these results for his patients! Couldn’t recommend him enough!
