Nice to see a consultant willing to do the menial task if necessary to keep the job going and spending as long as necessary to make sure the patient really understood all the ins and outs of the procedure.

My recent experience was very good. The clinic staff are friendly which makes it less stressful. The anaesthetist was very professional and also made one feel to be in safe hands. All of these factors also indicate that Mr. McKay operates in a safe environment which is quiet and reassuring. Mr McKay takes time to explain the procedure although this has been previously covered in a clinic appointment. He promotes confidence in his specialty and puts on at one's ease. I have had a number of similar procedures with him and on each occasion I have felt perfectly recovered quickly with no adverse side effects. On this last occasion the procedure has enabled me to stand straight for the first time in several years. No words can do justice to that..

Mr Mckay is genuinely the best. He made me feel at ease every procedure I had done. Mr Mckay talks you through every stage and anyone with spinal and back issues should definitely see Mr Mckay

I first saw Mr. McKay over three years ago for a disc issue that was causing significant sciatic symptoms, at which time I received a spinal injection. More recently, I returned to see him regarding a (suspected) cervical neck issue as well as ongoing back pain. On every occasion, Mr. McKay has been extremely professional and has taken the time to explain everything very clearly and thoroughly. He makes complex issues easy to understand, which is incredibly reassuring when dealing with spinal problems. I’ve always felt listened to and never rushed. It’s rare to find a specialist you can genuinely trust, and Mr. McKay is certainly one of them. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking expert and compassionate spinal care.
