Miss Fiona Langlands

Miss Fiona Langlands is an experienced Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon and General Surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients. Specialising in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of both benign and malignant breast conditions, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualised, patient-centred care. Her practice combines advanced surgical techniques with clear, reassuring communication, ensuring patients feel fully supported and well-informed at every stage of their treatment.

Her clinical expertise encompasses rapid-diagnosis breast assessment clinics, screening services, and comprehensive surgical care for breast disease. Miss Langlands offers a broad spectrum of surgical interventions, including breast-conserving surgery, mastectomy, and immediate reconstructive procedures using acellular dermal matrices and dermal sling techniques. Her clinical interests also include benign breast disease management, family history risk evaluations, and structured long-term post-treatment follow-up care.

Miss Langlands graduated with her medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Leeds in 2004. She subsequently completed a postgraduate research degree, earning a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) from the University of Leeds in 2012 for her research into radiotherapy sensitivity in breast cancer. Following her higher surgical training in London and Yorkshire, she was awarded her Certificate of Completion of Training and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2017. She is an active member of the Association of Breast Surgery Great Britain and Ireland.
