Dr Filis Ayan

 Dr Filis Ayan is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with expertise in medical retina, oculoplastics, dry eye disease, myopia management, and medical aesthetics. She combines her extensive ophthalmic  knowledge with a personalised, evidence-based approach to patient care, addressing both the health and function of the eyes and the aesthetic concerns of the periocular area and face. 

Dr Ayan completed her PhD in Ophthalmology at University College London (UCL) in 2020. She is registered on the GMC Specialist Register for Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBOphth). Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of ophthalmic conditions, with a particular focus on medical retina, oculoplastic conditions and surgery, dry eye disease, and myopia management. 

Her oculoplastic expertise includes upper and lower blepharoplasty, non-surgical eyelid rejuvenation, brow lifting procedures, treatment of eyelid lesions, and the management of periocular ageing. She also provides medical aesthetic treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, polynucleotides, platelet-rich
plasma (PRP), microneedling, and other skin rejuvenation procedures tailored to
individual patient needs. 

With her detailed understanding of ocular and facial anatomy, Dr Ayan takes a considered approach to medical aesthetics, prioritising patient safety, natural-looking results, and the preservation of normal eye function. She develops individualised treatment plans based on each patient's clinical needs, concerns, and goals.
