Dr Faisal Khan is truly exceptional! I had heart attack last August and an angioplasty surgery was required at St. George’s hospital and Dr Khan carried out that procedure - which was a complete success! I feel I owe my life to Dr Khan. His knowledge and precision during the operation were key in helping me now live a full and active life! I am beyond grateful - thank you Dr Khan!
Listened to me and my worries and explained the options I had. I asked him to also explain to my son and he took time to do so.
I underwent a new/alien treatment - with minimal difficulty. Dr Faisal was clear. The procedure team were positive with a good atmosphere. And the nursing staff were kind focused and very helpful. I felt good all day. And received useful summaries and guidance at the end. All that was missing was a prize badge for me at the end!
It was a pleasure to meet Dr Khan, having been referred by a fellow consultant, to discuss severe Mitral Valve regurgitation. Taking into account previous heart surgery and the current state of my heart, Dr Khan proposed a repair of the Mitral Valve using a process called MTEER, involving the placing of a Pascal device within the valve.
Very polite and professional explanation of my condition was in plain English
What I was to undergo was explained clearly and I had no concerns.
Very calm, reassuring and empathetic. Listened to issues and was never presumptuous or dismissive
I want to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care and skill you provided during my recent heart operation. Thanks to your expertise and dedication, the procedure was a success, and I am now on the road to recovery. Please extend my admiration to the whole team at St George’s
Excellent and helpful colleague. Patient centred. Very kind to patients and other healthcare professionals.
