Mr Evangelos Mallidis

Mr. Evangelos Mallidis is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with over a decade of experience in breast surgery, specialising in both benign and malignant conditions. Based in Ipswich since 2017, he has been an NHS Consultant Surgeon since 2016. His clinical practice is characterised by a patient-focused approach and a strong emphasis on safety, offering a comprehensive range of breast surgery services, including breast augmentation, reduction, uplift, lipofilling/lipomodelling, breast cancer care, and one-stop breast clinic assessments.

Mr. Mallidis completed his medical degree and trained as a General Surgeon in Greece before relocating to the UK in 2013 to specialise in breast surgery. His advanced training includes an Oncoplastic Breast Fellowship at Frimley Park Hospital NHS in 2016, alongside earning a postgraduate diploma in oncoplastic breast surgery from the University of East Anglia (UEA). Before his fellowship, he gained valuable experience at Medway NHS Hospital and Castle Hill NHS Hospital in East Yorkshire. He also served as an NHS Consultant Breast Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals and Kingston Hospital.

Dedicated to advancing the field of breast surgery, Mr. Mallidis combines clinical expertise with a commitment to education and research. He actively contributes to training the next generation of doctors, leading the undergraduate programme for medical students from the University of East Anglia and Cambridge University who join the Ipswich Hospital Breast Team. His academic contributions include publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences.
