Emily Farquharson

Ms Emily Farquharson is a Senior Orthotist and Physiotherapy Assistant with experience providing orthotic care for newborns, children and adults. Since qualifying in 2021, she has worked across a range of orthotic settings, developing experience in both clinical and community-based care.

Her work involves assessing and supporting people with orthotic needs across different age groups. Ms Farquharson also discusses caseloads within multidisciplinary teams to help determine appropriate orthotic interventions.

Another aspect of her work is supporting people with long-term conditions. She provides guidance and education using recognised resources for individuals and families managing these conditions.

Ms Farquharson graduated from the University of Salford with First Class Honours in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2021. Her subsequent experience has included graduate and orthotist roles before progressing to senior orthotic practice.
