About Dr Ee Ling Heng

Dr Ee Ling Heng is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in Adult Congenital Disease and Structural Intervention. She is based in London and sees patients at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. She completed her medical degree, alongside an intercalated Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management at Imperial College London in 2006. She was awarded a research training fellowship from the British Heart Foundation and was awarded a PhD for her research work investigating 'Improved Outcome Prediction in Tetralogy of Fallot'.

Dr Heng completed her specialist cardiology training in the London Deanery. After completing her training, she undertook a fellowship in adult congenital heart disease and structural intervention at Toronto General Hospital in Canada.

Dr Heng's expertise primarily focuses on adult congenital heart disease, with special interests in structural and adult congenital heart disease interventional procedures. She also has expertise in general cardiology.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Heng has published several peer-reviewed papers in high impact journals, including the International Journal of Cardiology. She has also authored a number of book chapters, including in the Oxford Handbook of Cardiology. She actively teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students in her field of expertise.
