Mr Eduardo Murakami

Mr Eduardo Murakami is a Sonographer specialising in diagnostic ultrasound, with particular expertise in women’s health, fetal medicine and general imaging. His work includes general ultrasound, gynaecological imaging, fetal medicine, obstetric scans, and the assessment of abdominal structures and soft tissue concerns.

Mr Murakami completed his medical degree at the Universidade de Mogi das Cruzes in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1999. He subsequently undertook specialist training in gynaecology and obstetrics, including fetal medicine, at institutions including Santa Casa de São Paulo and the Instituto Brasileiro de Controle do Cancer. He further developed his expertise through training with the Fetal Medicine Foundation in London.

Since 2015, Mr Murakami has practised as a sonographer in London across NHS and private healthcare settings. He takes a precise and patient-focused approach to ultrasound imaging, combining thorough diagnostic assessment with clear communication and taking time to explain the purpose of examinations and what is being assessed.

Mr Murakami is a member of the Conselho Regional de Medicina de São Paulo (CREMESP), Society and College of Radiographers (SOR) and British Medical Ultrasound Society (BMUS). He also holds UK NARIC certification recognising his qualifications within the UK.
