Dr Basheer Peer-Mohamed has been a consultant in paediatrics and neonatology at Milton Keynes University Hospital since 2011. He treats a wide range of conditions but has a special interest is in paediatric neurology and haematology. Dr Peer-Mohamed also has a private practice at BMI The Saxon Clinic and runs clinics for children who have respiratory conditions, allergies, urinary conditions, and abdominal symptoms. He is a well-respected clinician and has achieved a clinical excellence award for his work.

Dr Peer-Mohamed achieved his MBBS in 2000 from Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University in India, before training in a number of renowned hospitals including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital, and the Royal London Hospital. He is passionate about medical education and continues to deliver paediatric education sessions for other healthcare professionals in the field.

Dr Peer-Mohamed has numerous publications to his name and remains actively involved in research; his current topics of interest are paediatric neurology and haematological disorders.
