About Dr William McCrea

Dr William McCrea is a leading Consultant in Cardiology and General (Internal) Medicine in the UK. He is a Consultant Cardiologist at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and practices privately for BMI Healthcare and The Shalbourne Suite.

Originally from Ireland, he gained his Medical Degree in Dublin in 1980 before moving to the UK to pursue his chosen career, and became a Fellow at the Royal College of Physicians in 1999. He is heavily involved in providing cardiology training days to GPs to update on new practices and treatments. He is training programme director in Cardiology for Health Education England and is a Member of the Specialist Advisory Training Committee in Cardiology.
