Dr Tom Pennybacker

Dr Tom Pennybacker is a Consultant Psychiatrist and psychotherapist with many years’ experience in both the NHS and private practice. He has extensive expertise in assessing and treating a wide range of mental health difficulties, combining psychotherapy with medication where appropriate. Formerly the clinical lead for an NHS team supporting people with severe mental disorders, he has also taught at University College London and contributed to research into brain function in mental illness. Dr Pennybacker trained in psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic and has a strong interest in mind-body approaches to enhance psychological and physical well-being. He is the founder and co-director of The Chelsea Psychology Clinic.
