Mr Chan explained everything very clearly and in detail. I felt very safe and confident the procedure would be done as well as possible. As Mr Chan had removed my cataracts 3 years ago I had no hesitation in choosing him again.

I had laser treatment to correct opacity in a cataract-replacement implant. Dr. Chan was not only very professional and skilled but his manner gave me comfort and confidence that I was being looked after well.

Doctor Chan saw me short notice, within the same week I was able to book some time with him for an eye issue I was having that had been plaguing me for around 6 months. Upon seeing him for an initial consultation where he was extremely helpful, and friendly, he informed me that he would actually be able to squeeze me in that same day for the procedure I needed to fix the issue, despite clearly being extremely busy. I was thrilled with this news, as the issue had been having massive effects on my quality of life. I should also stipulate that I am not particularly good with needles or procedures of any kind, so was nervous given this. But Dr Chan’s professionalism, courteous manner, and patience really put me at ease, and I was done before I knew it. If I had a similar issue of any sort again, Dr Chan would be my first call.

A most impressive and helpful consultation with Dr Chan about cataract surgery. He was warm, welcoming and professional. He gave me very clear advice on a range of issues and answered all my questions. I feel as if I am in safe hands.

Mr Chan explained to me very clearly what he had found and my consequent options. He took great care to ensure I understood everything involved.

Dr Chan explained the laser eye treatment comprehensively and took me through each stage of the process outlining the procedure. My husband and I were able to engage fully with him as he explained everything and this made the entire appointment run very smoothly. His professionalism and engaging personality put me at ease during the appointment.

Following my ophthalmology assessment and diagnostic testing on 8 May 2026, I received confirmation of a glaucoma diagnosis. I would like to thank Mr Chan and the team at Spire Healthcare for the highly professional, thorough, and efficient care provided throughout the process. The consultation and investigations were handled with excellent clinical professionalism and clear communication throughout. I was particularly impressed by the speed of the follow-up arrangements, with my next appointment scheduled promptly for 4 June 2026, providing reassurance and confidence in the ongoing monitoring and management plan.

The consultation with Mr Chan was fantastic. He fully listened, was very patient with my child, gave clear advice on how to proceed.
