Dr Timothy Gatheral

Dr Tim Gatheral is an experienced chest physician in the Northwest. He specialises in lung fibrosis as part of the the North Lancashire and South Cumbria Interstitial Lung Disease Service and has wide experience across respiratory medicine including bronchiectasis, chronic cough, asthma and COPD. Tim co-leads the integrated Morecambe Bay Respiratory Network and acts as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Lancaster Medical School and honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. He has extensive research experience and holds the post of Director of Research and Development at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust.
