I was referred to Dr Appiah Cubi following concerns regarding enlarged lymph nodes and borderline immunoglobulin markers. Naturally, this raised anxieties about potential underlying haematological pathology. I am a doctor and a patient so I can imagine I am a difficult patient for Dr Appiah Cubi! Dr Appiah Cubi carried out a comprehensive and methodical assessment. She reviewed my clinical history in detail, performed a thorough examination, and arranged appropriate targeted investigations. Importantly, she interpreted the results carefully within my clinical context, which is so important. Being able to see the wood from the trees! She was able to provide clear reassurance that the findings were within normal biological variation and did not indicate underlying haematological disease. I particularly appreciated that she arranged the all the investigations efficiently, and in felt she avoided unnecessary additional investigations, instead formulating a sensible management plan with appropriate follow up. Her approach was professional, patient-centred, thorough and reassuring throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Appiah Cubi to anyone with haematological concerns.
