About
Dr Sophia Khalique graduated in 1991 from Leicester Medical School with a Distinction. Following on from this, she completed specialist training in London on a wide range of topics in A&E Medicine, Anaesthesia, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics and Obstetrics, Intensive Care and Gynaecology. During the completion of her training in Anaesthetics she achieved the Magill Medal.
From the Royal College, she achieved a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is also a Member of the Faculty of Family Planning. She is also a representative of the Royal College of General Practitioners and worked as a GP for the NHS until January 2000 when she decided to work in Private General Practice.
Dr Khalique provides her service to people of all ages and backgrounds, including babies to children to professionals and even celebrities. She also takes into consideration the needs and concerns of her patients and together find a viable solution.
She has shown a particular interest towards the field of Mental Health, and also shows an interest in Women's health. With respect to this, she carries out regular health screenings to better understand gynaecological well-being and managing menopause.
Sophia is a happy mother of 3 and enjoys a range of activities, including sports, travelling and fashion.

Dr Sophia Khalique is an excellent doctor who brings a realness to her practice. She is approachable, straight talking, and extremely knowledgeable and acts quickly and confidently to manage any issue she has been presented with. She has helped me with a number of sensitive issues and as a great team supported her.
