Dr Malik spoke very very very very very fast which was disconcerting and sat across at a very business like desk which made me a bit anxious. However she did have lot of information and was kind in what she did feel she could tell me which was relevant to the discussion at the time.

We are very grateful to Dr Malik for all her support during our pregnancy. Our family was new in the country and Dr. Malik supported us in every aspect of our life including some advice. Thanks to that we went through this stressful time quite smoothly. She was able to identify diabetes at a very early stage of pregnancy, which helped me to avoid complications at a later stage of pregnancy. I had a complicated C section but thanks to her I was able to return to normal life within three weeks and after three months the stitch was almost invisible. We are very satisfied Dr. Malik as a real professional and responsive supporter. Thanks to her our baby arrived safely.

I do not normally leave bad reviews, but I found the level of care and advice to be poor. I felt stupid for asking questions. And despite paying over 1,000 pounds for two appointments, one ultrasound, and hormonal testing - the only conclusion drawn was to go see another doctor. Dr Malik wasn't wearing a mask both times I visited her, despite the surge in Omicron cases, and only put one on because I was masked. Would not recommend.

Dr Malik has been incredibly thorough and considerate in advising me on menopause-related issues, and very responsive to questions and queries outside formal consultations. I would highly recommend her services.

It took five years to get pregnant for the second time and it was a difficult journey so when we finally did get pregnant I searched hard for an obstetrician who had experience with multiple miscarriage cases and pregnancy in over 40’s. Right from the start I knew Dr Malik was different. She was the first Dr to suggest progesterone and organised for a courier to deliver it to my house before I’d even met her. I could contact her directly on her cell phone any time and she always came back quickly. She’s meticulously detailed and no fuss which I really appreciated. She has two young girls of her own and so understands the motherhood journey. She’s also a fantastic surgeon and has the best team around her! She makes sure her patients get the best care from the Portland and her team. I would recommend her to anyone and have already done so.

Ms Malik was absolutely fantastic. She made me feel entirely at ease, filled me with absolute confidence and having had 2 natural births and 1 caesarean previously, I can safely say that Ms Malik provided me with the best care I had ever received. Thanks to her, our baby boy arrived safely and we both made it through what was an unexpectedly high risk situation on the day. Thank you Shazia xx

She treats her patients like family. Clearly explained everything she was thinking as well as what I needed to do to take control of my health and always make sure I felt comfortable in what was happening and etc. Such a lovely human being
