With underlying medical conditions that could have potentially complicated my pregnancy and delivery I knew I had to find an obstetrician that I could trust. From the very first consultation Ms Malik was very calm, patient, friendly, knowledgable and confident. This in turn made me very comfortable and I trusted her completely to make the right decisions and choices for me. It was an absolute pleasure to have her as my obstetrician. She always sought the opinion of whoever I took to the consultations with me and always checked if they had any questions - this made my husband feel very comfortable and made him feel like he was also a part of this whole process. I will definitely be having Ms Malik as my obstetrician if and when I decide to have a second child

Dr Malik's professionalism and warm approach were decisive in making my pregnancy a relaxed end enjoyable one. I entered the operatic theatre for my planned caesarean confident that I was in good hands and that she was going to take good care of me and of the baby. And so she did, before, during and after the operation. On top of being a great consultant and a wonderful surgeon, Dr Malik is also very caring, very practical and very pleasant to talk to. As a mother of two she also has some very sensible tips on parenting to share. I will definitely chose her again should I have another child.

Shazia Malik is a first class gynae. She gives clear, empathic advice with great sensitivity and understanding. I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Dr.Malik is a genuinely caring consultant and an outstanding professional who was always there to clear up any queries, reassure my husband and me and make me feel secure. She seemed to know my worries before I expressed them and was quickly able to restore my confidence. Her support and quite authority combined with patience and a friendly smile made my pregnancy and delivery run smoothly and I am extremely happy with my c-section scar which is Dr.Malik's forte.

I would like to say my experience with DR Shazia Malik was flawless. I felt comfortable talking to her, she was very reassuring, extremely professional and pleasent. I couldn't recommend anyone more then Dr Shazia Malik.  She is also very patient, compassionate and understanding in regards to my personal issue. I can not thank Dr Shazia MALIK enough.

I cannot recommend Dr Malik highly enough. We were so glad we had her look after us. I decided to use Dr Malik based on her excellent credentials and résumé. When I then met her in person i was not disappointed: Her calm, collected and very friendly manner was wonderful - this was a blessing as the last 6-8 weeks of my pregnancy were quite difficult and with her genuine care and excellent advice both my husband and I managed to stay calm and get through it. In fact, she went over and above what I expected when she regularly got in touch and checked up on me via email / text. My labour, too, was anything but straightforward, but not at any point did I worry - because I knew my baby and I were in the safest hands.

When I initiated my search for Consultant, had mainly three pointers on my list.. A Lady Obstetrician (I always feel that a Woman would always understand it better ), ofcourse someone who was one of the best interms of knowledge & Skills and last but not least someone who would be more of a happy empathetic friend than just a doctor. When I first met Ms Shazia Malik, it was an instant ‘Yes’ for me as everything matched to the dot. A Gold Medalist who came across as a very friendly and pleasing personality who not only came across very knowledgeable but also took honest effort to strike a great relationship with me giving me full confidence that I am placing my unborn little one in very capable hands. I had actually booked for hospital tour with St Mary’s Lindo Wing aswell and was undecided on hospital when I met Ms Malik. The first consultation with Ms Malik made the decision to go with Portland hospital obvious and straightforward for me .!!!
