I was very impressed with the Rivers Hospital, its facilities and the friendly professional staff.
My nurses prior to the operation were great making me feel very relaxed as we walked down to theatre, I felt supported and looked after at all times.

It’s hard to describe my experience with Dr. Sharma…

He has and continues to be a pillar of strength, for me, my wife and my extended family…

His intellectual capability is remarkable, only outdone by his emotional intelligence… I was driven to live…and he was driven to make that happen…in a country that has more then 3 million people living with cancer… I felt like I was the only one. A level of personalised care that I never thought possible. 

It’s funny writing this, I realise that I don’t know enough about him… other then he is in my mind… someone that thru his education, his capability and personality… enabled me to enjoy life for longer then the stats said I should!

Absolutely wonderful in every respect. I feel brilliantly supported. Explanations are really clear in consultations. Excellent personal touch.  

Radiotherapy

Regular consultations to discuss and assess progress after salvage radiotherapy for locally advance prostate cancer; willing to discuss, advise, and reassure on any and all physical side-effects, including referrals back to own GP for assessment and investigation of anything unusual.
