Dr Rakhi Seth

Dr Rakhi Seth is a Consultant Rheumatologist and General (Internal) Medicine Doctor. Dr Seth provides a comprehensive service to diagnose and manage musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Seth is an expert in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and reactive arthritis. Dr Seth also specialises in inflammatory crystal arthritis, including gout and pseudogout, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and autoimmune connective tissue diseases, including lupus and Sjogren's syndrome.

Dr Seth is passionate about furthering research in the field of Rheumatology. They have published Cochrane systematic literature reviews and international guidelines on the management of gout. They have also co-authored the British Society of Rheumatology guidelines on the safety of biological disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) in inflammatory arthritis.

Dr Seth is committed to using the latest technology and techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes for their patients. They completed an MSc in musculoskeletal ultrasound to support their interest in the use of ultrasound in detecting and treating inflammatory arthritis earlier to achieve disease remission and improve outcomes. They perform ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and safety.
