Dr Peter Florida-James

Dr Peter Florida-James is an experienced GP with a broad range of clinical interests, including sports medicine, musculoskeletal problems, dermatology, paediatrics, mental health, wrinkle treatments, and vaccinations, including travel immunisations. He qualified from Bristol University and completed his GP training in Banbury and Oxford, where he played a key role in launching one of the UK’s first cardiac rehabilitation exercise programmes.

With additional training in Public Health, Dr Florida-James worked as a consultant on the Healthy Birmingham 2000 project before returning to general practice. His passion for sports medicine led him to join Queens Park Rangers FC in 2005, where he currently oversees player rehabilitation and clinical audits as Head of Medical Services. He has also worked in military musculoskeletal clinics (MIAC), supported a Premier League Hockey Club, and served as the attending doctor for the Cirque du Soleil troupe.
