Dr Nicholas P Gall

Dr Nicholas Gall is a Consultant Cardiologist with specialist expertise in cardiac rhythm disorders and electrophysiology, with a particular focus on neurocardiology. He qualified in medicine in 1993 and was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist in 2004. His clinical interests include the investigation and management of palpitations, dizziness, blackouts, fainting and unexplained loss of consciousness, as well as arrhythmias and inherited cardiac conditions. 

Dr Gall has a particular interest in autonomic cardiovascular conditions, and one of few consultant specialising in Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS). He has an ongoing research interest in PoTS, with publications in the field and involvement in specialist educational programmes including PoTS masterclasses and the London Syncope Meeting. Dr Gall often emphasises the importance of lifestyle management with neurocardiology disorders and takes a well rounded approach to treating patients in this area. 

He also undertakes cardiac rhythm procedures including pacemaker implantation, cardioversion and implantable loop recorder insertion. His wider cardiology practice includes assessment of chest pain, breathlessness, cardiovascular risk and blood pressure and cholesterol disorders.

Alongside his research into PoTS, Dr Gall has presented at numerous conferences nationally and internationally on arrhythmia and syncope. His involvement in research and professional education reflects his extensive expertise in cardiology and his commitment to keeping up to date with the latest developments in neurocardiology.
