We were very impressed by Dr Chapman. He had read my mum's detailed medical history and considered all the information carefully before meeting us. My mum really felt she had been listened to, which was very important. The suggested next actions seem eminently sensible and evidence based. Thank you!
Having had a recent house move (36th in 45 years of marriage) and joining Health Centre as a new patient I was obliged to redo tests including a blood pressure reading to ensure current medications kept being prescribed uninterrupted. Took my BP reading myself in surgery to save time of having to submit it over several days - horrified when it alarmed the receptionist enough to show a doctor who was in the middle of seeing another patient. Was coasting along in happy belief everything more than fine from previous tests a couple of years ago. I then carefully researched Dr Neil Chapman and found out not only that my blood pressure had increased since I last had a 24 hour holter but ditto my BMI and increasing age doesn't help. Dr Neil Chapman gave me good advice and increased my BP medication which had stayed the same since 2012. I felt confident in his expert knowledge, he is easy to talk to and I would be very happy to see him again in the future if necessary.
Visit was very stress free. Clam and well appointed premises
I felt that Docteur Chapman cared and took the time to understand the situation. it makes a bit difference. So very happy overall :)
Consultation was OK but focused very much on starting medication and inferred nothing else would help. I personally think we could have explored diet and exercise options in more detail

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback following your appointment. I appreciate your honesty and all feedback is useful in improving the care that I aim to deliver. I note that you felt that I focused too much on the importance of medication rather than lifestyle issues, such as diet and exercise. Both medication and lifestyle factors are important, but I appreciate that some people may have more of a focus on one than the other. If you think it would be helpful, I would be very happy to have further discussions with more focus on lifestyle aspects and the role that both these and drugs these have to play. If so, then please do contact my secretary for an appointment.
I've have seen Dr Chapman before as a private patient. I value the quality and standards of care received on each occasion. As a patient I have trust in Dr Chapman and will endeavour to follow his guidance.
I always respect Dr Chapman telling you how it is & he's always very clear in what needs to be done
