Professor Michael Papadakis is a revered consultant cardiologist in London who specialises in sports cardiology, preventive cardiology, inherited cardiac conditions, heart failure, and cardiac MRI. He is also an honorary consultant cardiologist at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a professor of cardiology at St George's, University of London and a consultant cardiologist for Lanserhof at The Arts Club based in Mayfair, London.
He has a stellar educational background including an MBBS degree from Imperial College London and an MD (Res) from Kings College London. He was awarded a fellowship with the European Society of Cardiology in 2016 and a fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians in 2021. Professor Papadakis served as the chair of the sports cardiology and exercise section of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology between 2018-2020 and Is currently the president of the European Association of Preventive Cardiology. He is consultant to the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young, screening more than 30,000 young individuals per year for heart disease, and is a consultant cardiologist to the Rugby Football Union, English and Wales Cricket Board and English Institute of Sport. Professor Papadakis is currently credited with more than 150 peer-reviewed medical publications. He regularly presents as an expert speaker at national and international conferences.

PhysiologistDr Papadakis is an international expert in sports Cardiology and cardiomyopathies. I had the pleasure to work with him for the last 10 years. He is an excellent physician and academic. Excellent bedside manner and communication skills. Great knowledge and experience in issues related to "athlete's heart" and differential diagnosis with cardiac disease.
