Dr Kate Bramham

Dr. Kate Bramham is a highly trained and experienced nephrologist who has worked at both Oxford University and University College London. She was awarded her PhD from King's College London and currently works as a Consultant Nephrologist at King's College Hospital. In addition to her clinical duties, she also holds an academic post as Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Centre of Nephrology, Urology, & Transplantation at King's College London.

Dr. Bramham has many national positions within the field of nephrology, including Co-Lead for the UK Rare Renal Diseases Registry, academic lead for the UK Renal Disease in Pregnancy group, Chair of the UK Kidney Week program committee, and member of the International Society of Nephrology. She is widely published in original manuscripts and book chapters on various topics related to kidney health and is a much sought-after speaker on these topics internationally.

Her areas of specialty include post-operative acute kidney injury care, optimisation of chronic kidney disease treatment plans for dialysis patients requiring long-term treatment. Particular interests pre-pregnancy and antenatal care, mental health issues faced by kidney patients, and African ancestry renal diseases.
