Dr Karen Sutton

Dr Karen Sutton is the Principal Dental Surgeon at Beacon Dental Care based in Malvern. She qualified as a Dentist in 1993 from the University of Birmingham. She covers aspects of General Dentistry, but has a specialist interest in Periodontology having studied this at Bristol University, as part of her postgraduate dental studies. More impressively, she was awarded a prize for excellence in periodontology. She treats patients with gum diseases and has experience in teeth whitening. She is highly motivated to create beautiful smiles that everyone can feel confident with.

Dr Sutton understands that some patients can feel intimidated when visiting the dentist. Therefore, her overall aim is to make patients feel comfortable during their dental procedures. She often puts on comedy DVDs in the background so they can feel more at ease. For patients who feel more nervous, the clinic offers a Happy Air Sedation treatment. It helps to control anxiety and is a preferred approach to general anaesthesia.

Apart from her dental work, she enjoys dancing, baking cakes and making chutnies.
