About Dr Joseph Tomson

Dr Tomson is a Consultant Cardiologist with interests in atrial fibrillation, cardiac rhythm management, implantation of Cardiac devices (including pacemakers, defibrillators and resynchronisation therapy), physiologic or left bundle area pacing and cardiac dysfunction. He also manages blackouts, dizziness, palpitations, loss of consciousness (syncope), hypertension, and the treatment of cardiac dysfunction. He is also an Honorary Associate Clinical Professor at the UCL Medical School, London.

He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, London) and a Fellow of the Royal college of Physicians, London (2019). He completed Cardiology higher specialist training (CCT Cradiology, UK) in 2015 after also completing Cardiovascular research at the Clinical Trials and Statistics Service Unit (CTSU, University of Oxford); He completed his research thesis there (MD, 2016).

Dr Tomson is a consultant cardiologist at the Royal Free hospital, Hampstead, London. He consults privately at the The Royal Free private unit (Hamsptead), Hospital of St John's and Elizabeth, The HCA Wellington (St John's Wood) and at the Hadley wood hospital (High Barnet). He has published several articles in the Cardiovascular sciences, on hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease risk and prevention, cardiac arrhythmia, cardiac function and assessment, atrial fibrillation and dyslipidaemia. He has participated in global multicentre cardiovascular trials, and continues to be the principal investigator for a number of important cardiology trials. His research thesis was on effects of vitamin D and cardiovascular disease.

Visit very good except pharmacies closed and I couldn't collect medication . Eventually given a prescription for any pharmacie but as it was unsigned I couldn't get my prescription a d will ha e to return to hospital.
