Dr Jonathan Cohen is a Consultant Paediatrician at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and he also sees patients privately at The Portland Hospital. He studied medicine at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, prior to moving to London to specialise in paediatrics . He has subspecialty training in paediatric infectious diseases and immunology, having trained at Great Ormond Street and St Mary's Hospitals.

Dr Cohen has an MSc (Distinction) in Clinical Paediatrics and a PhD from ULC for his Medical Research Council-funded fellowship, which was for investigating natural iommunity against pneumococcal pneumonia. Before moving to UCH as a general paediatrician, he was an NIHR Clinical Lecturer at the UCL Institute of Child Health. At UCH, Dr Cohen runs clinics for children and young people in general paediatrics, along with specialist clinics in infectious diseases, asthma/respiratory conditions and allergy. Alongside his clinical work, Dr Cohen also jointly leads the paediatric education programme at UCH.
