Dr Jaskiran Azad

Dr Jaskiran Azad is a doctor with a specialist interest in dermatology who practises at sk:n Liverpool. She also holds an NHS position at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Azad qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Rani Durgavati University in 1994. She subsequently completed a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Dermatology, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and Leprosy, as well as a Diploma of Family Planning. She also completed the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) examination.

Her clinical practice covers a broad range of dermatological conditions and procedures. She has expertise in skin cancer surgery, laser treatments, vulval dermatology, outpatient dermatology and the management of common skin diseases. She also performs mole checks, mole mapping, mole removal, skin biopsies, skin cancer screening, dermoscopy, dermabrasion, mesotherapy, microneedling, skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal and treatments for acne and acne scarring. Dr Azad manages conditions including acne, moles, rosacea, psoriasis, rashes and skin cancer.

Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Azad has contributed to dermatology research through publications in scientific journals. She has also been involved in medical education, teaching in dermatology clinics in Glasgow, delivering academic lectures and teaching undergraduate medical students.
