Dr Asjid Qureshi

Dr Asjid Qureshi is a well-respected Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes with HCA Healthcare at The Wellington Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic. He also holds an NHS post at Northwest London Trust, Harrow. He has a wide range of experience in all areas of endocrinology and helps clients suffering from a variety of disorders of the adrenal, pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid and adrenal glands. He is also an expert in both male and female hormone disorders, in particular polycystic ovarian syndrome.

He was awarded his Medical Degree from Edinburgh University in 1992 and undertook his specialist training across numerous centres of excellence in London. During this time he became heavily involved in research and was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine in 2006 for his research into obesity and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Since then, he has obtained numerous research grants and his findings have been published extensively. His strong clinical and academic background has led to the appointed of College Tutor and Training Programme Director at Northwick Park Hosptial. IN 2009 he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, and since then has been appointed to numerous committees within the NHS and at deanery level. He is a member of the Society for Endocrinology and Diabetes UK
