About Dr Amar Paul Mann

I qualified from Leeds Medical School in 1992 and after completing specialist training took up my substaintive NHS Consultant Cardiologist and Physician post at Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Leighton) in 2004. I am passoniate about clinical quality and patient safety. I have been the Clinical lead for Medicine and Divisional Clinical Director for the Emergency Care Division, more recently I have been the Trust Consultant lead for Patient Safery. I have a broad and extensive experience in Cardiology and perform weekly non-invasive cardiac CT and cardiac MRI lists at Leighton Hospital. I am the Cardiology lead for the Cardiac CT service and obtained Level II accreditation from the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging in 2011. Outside of work I enjoy time with my family and remain a keen sports fan, although over the years this has become more watching than playing. We enjoy rugby, cricket and football.
