Dr Dexter Valencia is a highly skilled Consultant Interventional Radiologist who provides comprehensive image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic care. Specialising in minimally invasive procedures, Dr Valencia utilises advanced radiological imaging to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of medical conditions with precision. His clinical approach focuses on delivering tailored, evidence-based care that minimises patient discomfort and supports swift recovery times.

Dr Valencia completed his medical degree at Imperial College London. He subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate specialist training in Radiology and Interventional Radiology in Cambridge, completing his higher specialist training pathway in 2023. During his clinical training, he gained comprehensive experience in emergency and elective vascular interventions, organ-specific procedures, and cross-sectional diagnostic imaging. He is a Member of the Royal College of Radiologists and maintains active engagement with professional radiological bodies to stay at the forefront of modern medical advancements.

In his clinical practice, Dr Valencia performs a wide variety of advanced image-guided treatments. His expertise encompasses vascular interventions for peripheral arterial disease, endovascular aortic aneurysm repair, venous disease management, endovenous laser ablation, duplex ultrasound assessment, and dialysis access maintenance. Additionally, he provides specialised urological and gastrointestinal procedures, including nephrostomies, ureteric stenting, radiologically inserted gastrostomies, and uterine fibroid embolisation, alongside diagnostic reporting across ultrasound, X-ray, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
