Mr Derek Bosman

Mr Derek Bosman is a highly respected Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon who specialises in both adult and paediatric otolaryngology. With a career dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions, Mr Bosman is particularly renowned for his expertise in paediatric ENT. He provides compassionate, patient-centred care, ensuring that both young patients and their families feel supported and reassured throughout their treatment journey.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Bosman has held significant leadership roles, including serving as Clinical Director for ENT services. He is deeply committed to advancing the field of otolaryngology and has contributed to medical literature, co-authoring chapters in prominent textbooks such as Scott-Brown's Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. His clinical interests encompass general ENT disorders, paediatric airway surgery, and laser surgery, reflecting his dedication to utilising advanced surgical techniques to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Mr Bosman completed his undergraduate medical training in South Africa, qualifying in 1986. He went on to undertake extensive postgraduate training in both South Africa and the United Kingdom, completing his specialist training in 1994. Following this, he was appointed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon. Mr Bosman is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the Specialist Register for Otolaryngology.
