Ms Deirdre Reynolds

Ms Deirdre Reynolds is a Sonographer and Midwife at Mourne Scan Clinic. She began her career by training as a general nurse at Craigavon Area Hospital, then specialised in midwifery at the Ulster Hospital. Deirdre further developed her skills by working on the paediatric ward at Daisy Hill and practising midwifery for six years before moving to the HSE, where she has served as a midwife for 21 years and as a sonographer for 14 years.

Committed to continuous professional development, Deirdre completed an ultrasound course at Queen’s University Belfast and earned her master’s degree from University College Dublin. She joined Mourne Scan Clinic in December 2019, where she provides invaluable support to maternity patients. Known for her friendly demeanour and extensive knowledge, Deirdre is dedicated to answering patients’ questions and ensuring they receive the highest standard of care throughout their maternity journey.
