I was in for a finger injury after a sports competition. Debs assessed my injury thoroughly and explained it to me in clear and understandable terms. The anatomy of the injury was explained with diagrams to make sure I fully understood the mechanisms and function of the affected area. As well as helpful, this was genuinely fascinating too! Advice on recovery was also well explained and advice given for training safely in the context of my sport during the recovery period. My mind has been put at ease and I feel happy and empowered to take the right steps for the best healing outcome. It is clear too that Debs is a fantastic communicator, I was entirely relaxed throughout our appointment. Hopefully the wording makes sense when I say I was being treated as a person with an injury, not just as an injury attached to a person.
