I had a wonderful experience with Dr David Lin from the start, and the staff was kind, and the wait time was short. Dr David Lin has a great bedside manner and puts you right at ease. What I appreciate most is how thoroughly he took the time to explain every single detail. He talked me through my diagnosis. outlined my treatment and my options step by step. Dr Lin answered all my questions without letting me feel rushed or afraid to ask. It's rare to find a physician who combines such professionalism with genuine patience. Both Mr Lin and the other specialist who I saw first were very polite, friendly and professional, appearing to take a genuine interest in how I was doing overall and clearly feeling pride in their work when it became clear all was going well, one year on from my knee replacement .

I have been waiting for my knee replacement surgery for a while. Finally, I have a good surgeon, Dr David Lin. He deliberated with other colleagues on the type of knee replacement that would be appropriate for my condition. Now I am still in constant pain in my knee and buttock and around my waist. The pain and swelling have subsided around my feet. But the swelling is still there on my knee, and the pain is not as much anymore. Sometimes I walk inside the house without my aid stick because I have the walls to prevent falling. But when I walk outside, I use both walking aids. At this moment, the swelling on the operated knee is still there and when I walked the right leg feels heavy. The constant pain is no longer there. Unless if I am standing for more than 10 minutes to 15 minutes, then I start feeling a lot of pain around my right waist. My surgeon has done a great job as I believe my knee is getting better by the day. I'm attending my physio exercise as required weekly and also doing exercises at home too. I'm very glad that I can walk inside the house without my walking aids. There are no stairs inside my flat.

I was assessed according to my history. A diagnosis was reached quickly. Bursitis was explained to me, and how it is treated There was time for me to ask questions and receive answers. Throughout I was treated with professionalism and courtesy. This enabled me to leave the hospital knowing that my care was in good hands and informed of what was going to happen next

Mr Lin was incredibly kind and helpful and I'm hugely grateful for his clarity and for taking me on! He built a plan around my complexities and I feel I am in very safe hands. I cannot thank him enough. His staff were also wonderfully supportive especially Pryia Patel who is second to none.

Mr Lin listened to me kindly, and gave me clear advice regarding my expectations around maximum flexion and kneeling. I am very pleased with my knee replacement and the progress I’ve made. He examined me and when he wasn’t sure about why a quad muscle wasn’t firing properly he gave a suggestion as to why and suggestions for what I could do about it. He was also clear about what to expect regarding the scar healing and swelling going down over the year. He centred my overall satisfaction with the procedure.

Appointment was very quick, Mr Lin asked me how things went and l explained that my life had changed since the operation l can do things now that I couldn't do before. He said l will have another appointment in six months to check my hip and my knees. Overall l am extremely please with all treatment.
