Dr David Leslie

Dr David Leslie is an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist who provides comprehensive perioperative and anaesthetic care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical and obstetric procedures. Known for his reassuring and patient-centred approach, Dr Leslie focuses on ensuring comfort, safety, and clarity for patients before, during, and after medical procedures. He works collaboratively alongside surgical and clinical teams to tailor bespoke anaesthetic plans tailored to each individual patient's medical profile.

Dr Leslie completed his medical training with academic distinction, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) with Honours. He subsequently completed post-graduate specialist training in anaesthetics and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA). In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he serves as an Examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists and contributes to clinical research and post-graduate medical education.

Dr Leslie has developed dedicated expertise in obstetric anaesthesia and difficult airway management. His clinical skill set encompasses advanced techniques such as awake tracheal intubation, awake video laryngoscopy, and specialised pain management for labour and delivery.
