I had a very positive experience with Daniel. He was very responsive from first contact and helped me choose the right package of care for my needs. All communication has been very clear. The delivery itself went very smoothly (planned caesarean) and we have a healthy baby and swiftly recovering mum.

We found Daniel to have a wonderful balance between communication, clinical skills and research experience. On the day he performed very well and it all went very smoothly. We used two other private consultants for other pregnancies and would definitely have no hesitation in going back to Daniel for the future. He was simply fantastic. Dan was the best OB I could ask for. He emphatically helped me through my hypermesis gravedarum (HG). He responded to my messages almost instantly. He always was open to any questions I had and he would answer with all the statistical data, highly impressive and assuring. I always felt free to ask him everything; and he always made me feel supported in all my decisions. I can’t thank him enough for being there during every stage of my pregnancy especially delivery. My waters broke at late night, he saw my message instantly and called to see within an hour. He has always been so calm, relaxed and never let me worry; that is a quality I highly admire. He was always so responsive and always supported me in all my decisions. I can’t thank him enough. During delivery, I changed my mind after getting induced and wanted a C-section. He visited me again at Portland and assured me I was making the right choice and didn’t make me feel bad at all for changing plans last minute. He was there supporting me throughout my pregnancy and delivery. He even scheduled the csection quicker because I went into early labour already. He explained everything in detail and yet, always gave a rational and balanced view so I wouldn’t get anxious. He always made me feel my choice was respected and he always gave me a choice. I never felt things were enforced on me. He was incredibly emphatic towards my nausea because of HG. I can’t admire enough his promptness at replying to my message. Thanks for responding so promptly always, Dan I was extremely lucky to have such an intelligent compassionate OB deliver my baby. I am so happy he delivered her. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I 100% recommend him. Dan thanks for everything.

I had the best experience! Dr Stott is really attentive, honest and explains everything in great detail. He reassured us about all the concerns about labour we had from the first appointment. I was induced at 36+1 weeks as he spotted on time that I had an infection, and the best thing for me and my baby was to deliver as soon as possible. I had a vaginal delivery, and even though every woman's experience is different, I strongly believe everything went fast and smoothly thanks to Dr Stott. He checked on us postpartum to make sure we were okay. I really recommend him.

We had the pleasure of working with Daniel throughout my first pregnancy. From start to end he was so amazing and helpful! He is very calm and takes the time to explain things fully, making sure you are reassured. We planned for an induction and throughout the procedure and delivery he was so attentive and made the whole experience so smooth that I would definitely consider the same mode of delivery for any future pregnancies! Dan is a brilliant consultant who guided us through a challenging pregnancy at UCLH. I struggled with chronic hypertension, a subchorionic haematoma and was later monitored for fetal growth restriction. Dan was kind, empathetic and patient with us at all times. I particularly appreciated an email he sent to us on a Saturday night following a bleed I’d had. His response was professional, kind and reassuring - something I took great comfort from, and frequently referred to at a very anxious time. When it came to discussing my delivery options he again took the time to discuss my case extensively (in person & via email!). I opted for an elective c section and am delighted to say baby Molly arrived small but safe & well! Thank you Dan :)

I was around 32 weeks pregnant when Dan was recommended to me for my C-section delivery due to vasa praevia. Although it was at a late stage of my pregnancy and I had a few complications, Dan has been keeping on top of my case and everything was closely monitoring and clearly explained all the way. I was nervous and worried about the operation and the health of my baby as it's my first one but Dan has made it reassuring and comfortable for me. His care, compassion and expertise made my first delivery of baby a great experience, it's not that scary after all! We couldn't have been happier that we chose to have our elective C-section with Dr Stott at University College London. Dr Stott gave us a lot of time to help us make a decision about what the best way forward was for us and answered all the (many!) questions that we had both before and after our baby was born. He has a great bedside manner, explaining things carefully and clearly. He was available and incredibly prompt and responsive on email and text as well as making himself available to meet in person at short notice. He was helpful and reassuring at all stages, and we felt that we were in excellent hands throughout.
