Mr Daniel Bye

Mr Daniel Bye is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee replacement surgery, including complex and revision joint replacements, as well as lower limb trauma. He treats adults aged 18 and over, offering surgical treatment while exploring non-operative options where appropriate. His expertise includes total hip replacement, complex hip replacement, revision hip replacement, total knee replacement, revision knee replacement and endoprosthesis.

Following six years of higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics through the Cambridge training programme, Mr Bye completed two years of advanced fellowship training in complex and revision joint replacement surgery in the UK and Australia. His specialist training has provided him with extensive experience in managing complex orthopaedic cases and performing both routine and revision joint replacement procedures.

Mr Bye graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honours from University College London in 2009 and received a distinction for his undergraduate orthopaedic research project. His academic achievements include the Best Surgical House Officer Award, an AO Scholarship to the British Orthopaedic Association Future Leaders Programme and a national ranking of 12th in the Trauma and Orthopaedics selection process. He has also contributed to medical education as an anatomy lecturer.
