Dr. Cormac O'Neill

Dr Cormac O’Neill is a Consultant Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a member of one of the UK’s foremost academic radiology departments, he specialises in musculoskeletal imaging, with particular expertise in sports radiology and diagnostic ultrasound.

His academic interests focus on sports imaging, and he has contributed to peer-reviewed research in this field, including a publication in Skeletal Radiology (2024) examining the role of ultrasound in professional football. This work reflects his commitment to advancing evidence-based practice at the intersection of elite sport and diagnostic imaging.

Dr O’Neill works closely with a team of internationally renowned MSK radiologists in Cambridge, contributing to both high-quality clinical care and the department’s research and teaching activities.
