During her five years as a trained nurse, Clare specialised in Orthopaedics, Elderly Rehabilitation, and Rest Homes, where she gained extensive experience working with individuals with late onset dementia. This experience has been invaluable in her subsequent fifteen-year career as a community support worker, where she has provided care for clients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, and the elderly.

Clare's decision to transition from nursing to community care was driven by her desire to have more meaningful interactions with clients. She values the opportunity to build rapport and relationships, providing one-on-one support that she finds rewarding. Outside of her professional life, Clare enjoys various activities such as walking in nature, practising yoga, travelling, reading, going to the cinema, and dining out. She also has a passion for holistic health, having studied Healing and Homeopathy, and emphasises the importance of a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition.
