Dr Claire O'Neill

Dr Claire O'Neill is a highly dedicated Clinical Neuropsychologist who specialises in the assessment and care of individuals presenting with acute and chronic neurological conditions. Working extensively within the realm of cognitive neurology, she focuses on evaluating and supporting individuals affected by brain disorders. In her clinical practice, Dr O'Neill possesses distinct expertise in cognitive assessment and dementia care. She has a specialised clinical interest in early onset dementia, young onset dementia, and rare neurological conditions affecting cognition. Dr O'Neill completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 1997. She went on to obtain her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Sheffield in 2003. She subsequently completed advanced postgraduate training in Applied Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Glasgow, achieving full practitioner membership with the Division of Neuropsychology in 2009 and joining the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists. A Chartered Psychologist, she is registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council and holds memberships with both the British Psychological Society and the British Neuropsychological Society.
