Dr Christopher Gibbins

Dr Christopher Gibbins is a Consultant Physician specialising in General (Internal) Medicine and Acute Medicine. He focuses on the care of patients presenting with complex, multisystem, and urgent medical conditions. Dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, Dr Gibbins works to ensure that individuals requiring acute medical assessment receive rapid diagnostic evaluations and appropriate clinical management.

Dr Gibbins qualified from Newcastle Medical School in 2005. Following his initial medical qualification, he completed extensive postgraduate training in acute internal medicine, general internal medicine, and intensive care medicine within the Northern Deanery. In addition to his clinical practice, he actively contributes to postgraduate medical education and clinical leadership, serving as an Associate Clinical Lecturer and Regional Training Programme Director for Acute Internal Medicine.
