Ms Christie Coho

Christie Coho is a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, specialising in helping people navigate trauma and life’s challenges. She works with warmth and compassion, creating a safe space for clients to explore their experiences and make meaningful changes. Christie uses evidence-based therapies like EMDR and Compassion-Focused Therapy, tailoring her approach to meet each person’s unique needs.

In addition to her private practice, Christie works in a specialist NHS trauma service, supporting individuals who have faced difficult and often overwhelming experiences. She has a particular focus on working with survivors of sexual violence and FGM/C, combining deep expertise with sensitivity and care. Christie also supervises therapists and staff in complex client work, drawing on her years of knowledge to guide others in the field.

With a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT and a Master’s in Social Work, Christie takes a thoughtful, grounded approach to therapy. She believes in helping clients understand themselves better, challenge unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with what brings them joy and purpose. Christie’s work reflects her belief in kindness, both towards ourselves and others, as a powerful tool for change.
