The service was exceptional. Everything was clearly explained and for a person who is not keen at all on staying in hospital this put my mind at ease. The aftercare was very efficient and staff were friendly and helpful. Two hips replaced within 7 months has quite literally given me my life back. Mr Chris Lodge is an excellent Orthopaedic surgeon who looks after his patients 100%, he explains everything so precise and makes you feel so at ease also confident going forward with your new hip. He has got a wonderful bedside manner and is a true gentleman and makes sure that all is correct and ok in yourself before discharge.

Overall first class treatment and care from initial contact and through to pre op- admission - and initial after care in hospital. Impressive professional from all members of medical team - anethatist and surgeon. Well looked after by nursing staff to through out. Felt totally confident and relaxed a pleasure. I found Mr Lodge approachable in our pre-admission consultation in which he took plenty of time to explain the procedure and to assess my concerns. In hospital he was professional and personable and I felt in highly qualified and experienced care. My recovery from the operation has exceeded my hopes and expectations; I was delighted to be driving after five weeks and golfing after seven with only mild discomfort.

My complete experience under Mr Lodge from my first appointment until my follow up appointment has been excellent, all through from my admission for my operation to discharge day I was made to feel comfortable and kept well informed of every step going forward, my whole experience has an inpatient was to an exceptionally high standard and I was looked after by all hospital staff to a five star standard.

Mr Lodge was excellent from start to finish I couldn’t speak more highly of him !
