Mr Chidi Ekwobi

Mr. Chidi Ekwobi is a highly skilled Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, currently practising within the NHS at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr. Ekwobi began his medical career by graduating from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2000. He went on to complete his higher training in plastic surgery in Manchester and Preston. Determined to further enhance his expertise, Mr. Ekwobi pursued prestigious fellowships at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. During these fellowships, he focused on microsurgery, with an emphasis on breast reconstruction and head & neck reconstruction.

Before joining The Royal Preston Hospital in 2016, Mr. Ekwobi worked as a consultant at The Royal Marsden Hospital, where he contributed to the care of patients with a variety of reconstructive needs. Within his current role, Mr. Ekwobi serves as the Clinical Lead for Burns and Trauma. He is also passionate about educating the next generation of surgeons and has been recognised for his excellence in surgical education.

Mr. Chidi Ekwobi specialises in a wide range of plastic and reconstructive procedures, including breast reconstruction, breast reduction, breast augmentation, mastopexy, nipple reconstruction, breast asymmetry correction, male breast surgery (gynaecomastia), revisional breast surgery, lipomodelling, body contouring, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), skin lesion management, scar revision, prominent ear correction, and laser surgery.
