Dr. Charlotte Leigh

Dr. Charlotte Leigh is a highly skilled General Dentist known for her calm and reassuring approach to patient care.

Dr. Leigh's journey in dentistry began at the Leeds Dental Institute, University of Leeds, where she obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BChD) degree. Building on her foundational education, she pursued advanced training and achieved a Master of Science (MSc) in Restorative Dental Practice with distinction from the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital. Her research on snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea in dentistry, which was part of her MSc dissertation, was published in the esteemed British Dental Journal.

Further enriching her expertise, Dr. Leigh completed additional training at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital, where she served as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, she provided essential on-call and ward cover for oral and maxillofacial patients.

Dr. Leigh has developed a special interest in sleep apnoea, recognising its significant impact on overall health. She is passionate about helping patients overcome the challenges associated with this condition, including loud snoring, sleep disturbance, and difficulty breathing, by providing tailored treatment solutions. Additionally, Dr. Leigh finds fulfilment in managing tooth wear cases, alleviating anxiety in patients, and delivering exceptional care in children's dentistry.
