Dr. Charlie Barnfield

Dr Charlie Barnfield graduated from King's College London with a BDS qualification in 2013; he then went on to the West Midlands to complete his foundation training. Dr Barnfield also secured positions at Gloucester and Cheltenham Hospitals as a senior house officer in maxillofacial surgery, before going on to general practice at a surgery in Sussex. In 2015, he completed his examinations and earned his Membership in the Joint Dental Faculty for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Dr Barnfield's interest in restorative dentistry took him further, and in 2016 he completed a one-year Endodontics postgraduate certificate from the University of Chester, specialising in root canal treatments and retreatments. Further postgraduate training followed, and later that year Charlie earned a place on the highly competitive MClinDent training programme at the Eastman Dental Hospital to become a specialist in Endodontics. He also recently sat his exams to earn Membership in Endodontics from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons for London and Edinburgh, the highest possible qualification in his field. Dr Barnfield also works in academia as a mentor and teacher to postgraduate dentistry students at the Eastman Dental Institute, lecturing on the Diploma in Endodontics.

Most recently, Dr Barnfield has limited his practice to Endodontics to specialise in his field, accepting referrals for complex root canal treatments and surgeries; he also provides treatment for internal bleaching, dental pain and management of dental trauma.
