Miss Carys Karker

Miss Carys Karker is an experienced Registered Midwife specialising in comprehensive care throughout the perinatal journey. She began her clinical career gaining broad expertise across all aspects of maternity care within a major NHS maternity foundation trust, before extending her clinical work across a range of healthcare environments, including international maternity placements and private practice. This diverse experience has shaped her adaptable, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach to supporting families.

Miss Karker holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree and is a Registered Midwife, alongside holding postgraduate qualifications as an Independent Prescriber and in tongue-tie management. She is a certified Newborn and Infant Physical Examination practitioner and has undertaken advanced training toward becoming an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant.

Her clinical practice encompasses all stages of pregnancy and early parenthood, with a particular focus on antenatal education, early pregnancy care, postnatal recovery, and infant feeding support. Miss Karker provides specialist care in tongue-tie (Ankyloglossia) assessment and surgical division (frenulotomy). Placing strong emphasis on continuity of care and informed choice, she offers holistic, family-centred care to guide and empower parents through every stage of their maternity care.
